A believer is Forced into COVET-19 Quarantine Ward Appeals to International Community For HELP
3 min readA 48-year-old man in Yilan County, Heilongjiang Province, China has been forced into quarantine for COVET-19 patients. According to en.minghui Mr.Gong fell unconscious from relentless abuse at the hands of the prison guards at a certain detention center. Mr.Gong’s only crime was practicing Truthfulness Compassion Tolerance, the principles of his faith. He has now been denied visitation rights.
The beauty of the ancient Chinese spiritual and meditation discipline is that it’s based on Taoism and Buddhism. It is, therefore, the heart of Chinese culture. Sadly, the spiritual group has been brutally persecuted in China by the Chinese communist regime since 1999.
Mr. Gong Fengqiang’s arrest on December 27, 2019, came just twenty just days after his wife, Ms. Li Yanjie, fell to her death. The couple were afraid of the police and tried to escape when they jumped out of an apartment building. Mr. Gong survived the fall his wife was dead on the scene. He was, unfortunately, arrested by authorities soon afterward.
After Mr. Gong fell into a deep coma on January 27, 2020 (the third day of the Chinese New Year) The guards at Yilan Detention Center reported Mr. Gong’s condition to the Domestic Security Division. He was then transferred to a coronavirus quarantine ward without informing his next of kin.
His family is now desperately calling on the International community to help rescue him.
Mr. Gong and his wife were relentlessly persecuted and repeatedly arrested, detained, and tortured for 20 years for refusing to stop meditating.
The CCP had Mr. Gong fired from his job. He was mercilessly taken to a forced labor camp to serve a two-year term in 2001. He was then sentenced to five years in 2007. Mr. Gong suffered a mental breakdown and lost his hearing after being subjected to force-feeding, beatings, and being denied restroom use at the detention center.
When Mr.Gong was released on medical parole in December 2008, he was a broken man. He had completely lost his memory and couldn’t recognize anyone at home. Mr.Gong didn’t know how to talk, eat, or take care of himself and fainted often. His urine was milky-white. Mr. Gong suffered from agonizing chest pain and had breathing problems. He also perspired heavily that soaked his bedding and clothes.
Mr.Gong has miraculously survived eventually regaining his memory thanks to his unshakable faith in Falun Gong despite his ongoing persecution and cruel harassment of his family by the CCP Regime.
