China Exposed In Tribunal: A ‘Substantial’ Number of People Are Being Killed For Their Organs

Sir Geoffrey Nice chair and prosecutor at the June International Criminal Tribunal, said: “Very many people have died indescribably hideous deaths for no reason.”
Leading human rights lawyers found it was “beyond doubt” that forced organ harvesting from prisoners has taken place “on a substantial scale by state-supported or approved organizations and individuals.”

The International Coalition to End Transplant Abuse in China said they have substantial evidence that forced organ harvesting had been taking place over at least 20 years and is still continuing.
An independent group consisting of 7 lawyers comprised the tribunal which was set up by the campaign group.
The tribunal was entrusted with examining whether crimes against humanity are being committed as a result of China’s transplant practices.

It was found that the UK-based panel was “satisfied” that forced organ harvesting was and is still being practiced in China.
Concrete evidence submitted by people of conscience was submitted to the tribunal and evidence of people being killed in the process of having their organs extracted.

The panel said its findings were “indicative” of genocide.

It recommended that international bodies investigate the issue further.

China claims it stopped harvesting the organs of executed prisoners five years ago, and the government says the allegations are being used for political propaganda against the communist country.

But Falun Gong members along and Uyghur Muslim inmates report prison officials are subjecting them to persistent and ongoing medical checkups and blood testing.

They said that China’s Uigur Muslim minority were in danger of “being used as a bank of organs.”
A spokesman for the Chinese Embassy in London said that Chinese government regulations say human organ donation must be voluntary and without payment.

“We hope that the British people will not be misled by rumors,” a spokesperson said.
