2 min readMany of the world’s cities have been swept by a wave of golden yellow Chinese suits, colorful banners, song, and dance. May 13 is the anniversary of the introduction of the Chinese self-cultivation practice called Falun Gong and also marks the 27th festival of the ancient spiritual discipline’s introduction to the public.
All testify to immense improvement in the quality of life by practicing the 5 sets of simple exercises and improving themselves by aligning to the universal principles of Truthfulness Compassion Tolerance.
Falun Dafa musicians in New York City
Practitioners from the New York City area gathered at Dag Hammarskjold Plaza outside the United Nations to celebrate this special occasion. The young people presented Western classical compositions with solo, ensemble, vocal, piano and string ensemble performances.
People gathered on Human Rights Square near the Eiffel Tower on the afternoon of May 5, 2019. Through music, dance and demonstrating the Falun Dafa exercises, practitioners shared with the public how wonderful this traditional spiritual discipline truly is.
Falun Dafa, also known as Falun Gong, is a spiritual and meditation practice first taught to the public in Changchun, China on May 13, 1992, by its founder, Mr. Li Hongzhi.
